I’m Lauren Rose — Mum of 2, founder of Flour & Rose and a lifelong lover of all things homemade and heartwarming.
 

My love for baking began as a little girl, standing on a stool in my gran’s kitchen, hands dusted with flour, learning to mix, roll, and shape from the woman who taught me that baking is one of the purest forms of love. I later spent time working at my uncle’s cake business, where I discovered I had a real flair for it, but it wasn’t until I became a parent that everything really came to life.
 

What started as home-baked treats for family and friends quickly turned into something more. With every batch of gooey, stuffed NYC-style cookies, I found myself pouring the same love, comfort, and nostalgia into them that I grew up with.
 

Flour & Rose is a tribute to those early memories and a celebration of indulgent, joy-filled baking. Each cookie is crafted by hand in small batches, stuffed to the brim with flavour, and baked with care, just like I learned all those years ago.
